Robin Williams died 5 years ago today… all i can say is wow, its been 5 years, 1st time goes by way to fast and second boy do I miss Robin Williams. From his stand up to some of his amazing movies, in my eyes he was truly one of the greats ….. He could make you feel happy or he could make you feel sad. I never met Robin Williams but i felt I knew him, in Good Morning Vietnam he made us understand how being outspoken can’t be stopped. In Patch Adams he showed us how a Doctor can really care, In Moscow on the Hudson he showed us he can be just about anything including defecting from Russia, and in Awakenings he showed us how thinking outside the box can do some amazing things, even if they only last a short time.Some of his movies may have actually tought us something. His stage shows were second to none, i was fortunate enough to see Robin live and he was truly amazing. And from the gifts he gave us with his friends at Comic Relief trying to people who had nothing.. His appearance’s on late night talk shows especially Carson with Jonathan Winters were enough to knock most people out of their chairs…Unfortunately Robin suffered from Louie Body Dementia, and took his own life. to bad this could not have been discovered sooner, maybe someone should have put a copy of Goodwill Hunting for him so he could listen to himself, he was an amazing man, and I will say it again.. Boy do I miss Robin Williams.. laughter is priceless
